Hey to all my crazy friends!
Sorry it's been so long since I've updated my blog here, but I've been working on some really exciting stuff! There's actually a couple of things to announce!
First off, I recently got into The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, reading the book in a nine-hour setting, then finishing my weekend by going to see the movie in theaters. The movie was awesome, but the book was way better! My little brother says I only like the book better because I read it before seeing the movie and if it had been the other way around, that I'd like the movie more. To prove him wrong, I thought about waiting to read the second book until after I saw the second movie that Hollywood is promising to make...but then I decided it wasn't worth it!

Rediscovered Passions
I dream that someday
I’ll finish my novels and become a published, world-renowned fiction author.
But I keep tweaking that dream a little all the time, because at times I think
I’d settle for just being published.
Or for just finishing a manuscript.
Or for just finishing a manuscript.
The one thing that’s
consistent in my dream is my passion for writing, something that I love.

A New Year’s Spending Challenge
I need you to use your imagination… (I’d instruct you to also close your eyes but then you wouldn’t be able to read what I’m writing, now would you?)

| $86,400.00 |
Let’s imagine that there was a game to be played in which every morning your bank deposited $86,400 into your private account for you to use however you wanted.
Alright, sounds good right? However, just like any game, this one has certain rules.

Christmas Greetings
I don’t have a lot of time (like anyone ever has any excess time?), but I wanted to take a moment to tell you all Merry Christmas and to share a little holiday blessing with you. We all get so caught up in the season that we sometimes forget the true reason for the season. I’m guilty of that, as much as the next person is. However, for the next few minutes, I’m going to take the time to remember that December 25th is to celebrate the birthday of our savior.
