Blog of the Year (And Dealing with Change)

2012 was a fun ride for me – a total roller coaster! In fact, it was so fun that I’m having a hard time letting go so I can concentrate on all the new things I have coming up in 2013.

And by new things, I do mean a LOT of new things coming up! That’ll all come in a later post though, when stuff starts to settle a bit more.

For now, I’m going to concentrate on one final piece of 2012 business that I kind of sort of forgot to take care of before the calendar turned over. It’s that I was nominated for Blog of the Year! Thanks to SydneyAaliyah for the nod!

Be sure to check out the rules here.

Now, for the nominations! (This is always the fun part!)

I nominate all the gals over at The Writer’s Alley, for the work they do solo and collectively! You gals are all such great encouragements to me and I thank God I found this blog!

I also nominate the Masquerade Crew. Mark, you’re doing a great job and I enjoy dropping by to see what fun things you’ve found to share from the writing world each day! Keep up the good work!

Finally, I am passing the award back to Sydney Aaliyah – thank you so much for all your encouragement and support. Keep up the good work, and now you can add another star to that wonderful blog of yours!

As I was saying before, I haven’t gotten much creative writing in since the start of 2013. I had hoped to finish my NaNo novel, Spell Bound, before this year began, but that didn’t happen. I had a brainstorm yesterday but haven’t actually been able to write about it yet.

From the looks of things, I’m not starting the New Year out on a good note so far as my writing is concerned!

On top of all that, there are some big changes coming up in my life outside of writing and those changes are likely going to take up a lot more of my time, at least for a few weeks. So I’m not sure if I’ll be blogging consistently for the rest of this month. I just want to give you all a head’s up. I have some great plans for this blog in this coming year, but it’s just going to be a matter of getting everything my writing life and my personal life lined up.

So, until next time – Write on everyone!
