I squealed when I opened my email inbox last Saturday to find this cover waiting for me. You don’t know how hard it was to keep it under wraps until today!
|Felicia Tatum, author|
First off, a bit about the author. You may remember, I did an interview with her a while back following the release of her first novel, The White Aura. You can check that out here if you’d like.
This writer claims she’s loved reading always and began writing when she was twelve. Born and raised in Tennessee, she wrote and published her first novel just over a year ago in May 2012. Mangled Hearts is her third – yes, I said third! – novel out since that time.
Tatum still resides in Tennessee with her daughter and posts pictures on social media of her beautiful white cat (which has made my longing for a pet cat all the worse since I can’t have one). Besides writing, she loves to cook and read. She says that animals are some of her best friends and she watches a lot of Disney channel (I assume with her daughter).
While inspiration for her books literally comes straight from her dreams, her ultimate dream is to write as many books as she can and entertain as many readers as possible.
Now, for the cover reveal!
|My heart is mangled over having to wait until July 12 for this book!|
Looking like an old photograph that’s been folded and unfolded hundreds of times, this grand cover design is by Samantha Bagood at CoverPub. She has designed Tatum’s other two covers as well.
Can two loves find their way back to each other despite an addiction and a hardened heart? Will love overcome it all?
Francesca Taymon is a lawyer; young, successful, and broken. A tragic accident years ago haunts her to this day, and she blames only one person - the one that holds her heart. When she finally gets her first case, will she be able to handle seeing him again? Can she do her job and keep her heart intact?
Cade Kelling doesn’t take life seriously. He’s reckless and irresponsible, drinking all his problems away. When his parents bail him out for the last time, will he be able to handle seeing Francesca after all of these years? Will he be able to tell her what really happened that night five years ago or will he lose her forever?
And the most important question…
Can these mangled hearts be mended?
Be sure to add the book on Goodreads!
